Free Beer!
Friday 3rd July
|
| 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm |
Written and performed by Jonathan Brown (Best Male Performer Nominee, Brighton Fringe 2007) Directed by Denise Evans
Nationalise the banks? That's nothing! What about the breweries?
When his son Teddy starts prophesying the collapse of the alcohol industry, Bernie, the landlord finds his back to the optics. A night of excess is what's in order, in order to get the tills ringing again. Trouble is, the only sign that keeps coming up is, "No sale"!
And as Teddy takes to sampling the stock, "Best Mate" Ronnie to smacking the children in the kiddies area and Margaret takes to the toilet, for almost an entire Eastenders episode, Bernie starts to lose his faith. Strong language throughout. £7 (£5) in advance from Tor Leisure or Speaking Tree Bookshop |
